Not always. At Náutica Colonia we have boats that require no licence, which anyone can operate without a permit (such as the Chios 170 or the Selva 500), as well as boats that do require a licence (PNB, PER, navigation licence or non-Spanish qualifications) for experienced skippers, like the Selva 600 or the Trimarchi 62 S Open. A licence is mandatory to sail to the Cabrera National Park.
All our boats depart from the port of Colonia de Sant Jordi (Mallorca). From there you can reach beaches and coves such as Es Carbó (just 5 minutes away), Es Trenc (15 minutes), Es Caragol, Cala d’en Tugores, Cala Màrmols, Caló des Moro or the Ses Salines Lighthouse. With a licence, you can also sail to the Cabrera National Park (about 30–60 minutes).
You can book online in just a few minutes through the website, choosing a morning slot (10:00–14:00), an afternoon slot (15:00–19:00) or the full day (10:00–19:00). You pay 50% of the boat’s price as a deposit at the time of booking (by VISA, Mastercard or PayPal), and the remaining 50% in person at our office when you pick up the boat. Any extras are paid in full (100%) at the time of booking.
Yes. The security deposit is paid in person by VISA or Mastercard when you collect the boat: €1,000 for boats requiring a licence and €500 for boats with no licence required. It is refunded at the end of the rental provided the boat is returned in the same condition.
Cancellations made more than one month in advance are refunded 100%; more than 15 days in advance, 50%; and less than 15 days in advance, there is no refund. If the cancellation is due to bad weather or a boat breakdown, we offer an alternative date, another boat for the same time slot, or a full refund of the deposit.
Yes. We have a technical area/dry dock with a 300 m² hauling esplanade and a 10-tonne travel-lift crane, where we carry out hauling and launching, antifouling, painting, varnishing, fibreglass and woodwork repairs, mechanics and rigging. We also provide custody and winter storage: we handle transport and keep your boat safe from storms during the off-season, ready for the next season.
